Blank, hollowed out eyes - for numerous years and the years after to dust, always, hanging in the back of his mind, Shisou thought his mentor looked...sad. Though his words never trembled nor his insistence never dimmed or strayed, he could tell his mind was far away, somewhere else.

It was beyond him as to what else he could be thinking of - that smart-ass of a exiled prince vampire was nothing more than a terror to a young vampire wanting to "have fun." So have fun he did, until the day that -it- happened.

His mentor. His friend. His excuse for picking on another being was gone. Fading into the background like some ghost, the vampire born red eyes sad, distant and untouchable.

Bitter, he buried the memories and the pealing sounds of chimes from Inja's favorite instrument away, instead turning his back on the memory, turning his back on everyone, every thing as he descended into a catastrophic madness. Hiding. Hiding from crimson eyes.

Nicknames: Inja

Age: Unknown, several thousand upon thousands.

Height: 5'11

Body type: In his prime, well developed but lean "V" torso and healthy frame. As he deteriorated in Hell from various things (including Shisou's abuse of his mentor), he thinned out, becoming softer, skinnier, bonier.

What (s)he is: Natural born vampire, exiled eldest son of the Northern Clan's noble line.

Occupation: Unknown, used to simply teach wayward vampires how to be vampires.

Abilities: Energy manipulation to fine points - capable of creating an energetic whip that started in the core of his being that could cut, grab, pull, etc. Low tolerance of the sun due to his nature and predisposition being born a vampire from two vampiric parents, capable of using energy to darken the area around himself, not create shadows like Shisou can.

Likes: Politeness, calm, books, solitude and contemplating for long hours. There are other things he likes but..yeah. Dunno at this moment.

Dislikes: Rude people, sexist people, incestuous people, just plain selfish people in general (he was exiled from his own people due to his refusal to join in the "family fun"), and a various amount of other things.

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Relationships: Romantic with a human before he sacrificed himself. Strained relationship with Shisou as Student/Mentor, working relationship with Matteus and some others. Casual, quiet relationship with many people, number unknown.

Personality: Calm, quiet, old, polite and soft spoken.

Brief background: The eldest son of the Northern Vampire clan's noble line, Inja was a bit different from the rest of his siblings, taking more after his mother who had been murdered some years after he was born. His new mothers and new brothers were all things he did not agree with, preferring to not slake his appetites to the ends they went to, finding himself repulsed by their natures and abusive interactions. He refused his family's advances (being the eldest of five whorish brothers) and was promptly thrown out. He left gratefully but also before they could kill him for sport.

He wandered and developed his talents, speaking with the general public that he had been sheltered from before he caught the attention of a Demon Master or Dark Master, this one named Matteus. He needed someone who had a great talent for teaching, so he had Inja teach a young yet brutal vampire by the name of Shisou.

Their relationship was strained, what with Shisou attempting to now and then grope/rape him and throw the smaller vampire around when denied - assaulting Inja with the very things that he had left home to escape. Inja persisted because it was what he had been asked to do (by a Master, no less), hoping he would get through to the young vampire, if not for his sake, but for the sake of others. Their lessons were anything but what Shisou was willing to listen to and in the end, when he left, Shisou claimed he'd been abandoned, untaught, unwanted. But it had been only because he had wanted Inja to stay and had not understood how to portray his emotions other than horrendous extremes of them that caused so many problems in his early life.

Shisou learned the hard way how to do many things, preferring to wipe Inja's existence from his mind and spit on his memory. And yet Inja watched quietly from a distance, unsettled as he watched his charge loose his sanity before he came back in a last attempt to help him, having seen what he could do if he was not stop. The effort killed him, leaving a young human woman alone to mourn his death.

Shisou has nothing but respect for his mentor now, having learned that and more from not only his Master Matteus, but his Mentor Inja'Kiri.

Inja is buried in a private place, underneath a tree Shisou spends a multitude of his time when he is broody and feeling sorry for himself.
