A new version of Shisou I've puttered on about on tumblr quite a bit. He's a sort of altruistic philanthropist, having been born before the time of Christ who works on making medical needs completely free to the public and worldwide. This also includes taking care of supernatural creatures, like himself, as he is still a vampire.

He's of Mediterranean/Asian decent, being the bastard baby of chance encounter. His money comes from being involved in the spice and silk trade throughout the years and he still maintains his hands in the industry but he is a fair employer, not paying slave wages but he does have a bit of a preference recently in employing supernatural beings purely to bring them into the new age in a possibly more safe way (amongst others who could understand them) and that it makes his life a bit easier because he is also unnatural.

He advocates supernatural beings/human beings awareness and looks forward to furthering that interaction, believing that individuals can, at some point, learn to live together and be mutually beneficial to one another.
